I Was Worth the Wait

A simple onesie and hat set that says it all. The perfect shower gift for your friend who braved infertility or adoption on her way to motherhood. Let her know you noticed all she went through even as you're celebrating what lies ahead.

(Uncommon Goods does a nice gift wrap, too.)

I bought this for some friends who adopted after us. It felt like the perfect gift.

I like that this focuses on the parent's experience instead of the child. I always squirm when I see the "made in China" or other such infant wear that adoptive parents put on their children. This one is pretty cool.

@kohana - I totally agree. This could just as easily be for a someone who needed awhile to get pregnant. Heck, it could even refer to just the 40-week pregnancy. It sort of leaves the child's adoptee status out of it.
